Biography
Thierry Deleruyelle is a French composer, born in Arras (France) in 1983. He began his musical studies at the music school of St. Laurent-Blangy and then at the Conservatoire Régional de Douai. After obtaining a Bachelor of Literature, he was admitted to the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris (CNSM). He obtained the prices of Percussion, Harmony, Counterpoint, Fugue and diplomas for Analysis and Orchestration, first class honour, unanimous distinction.
His compositions are required to work with renowned artists (Romain Leleu, Clement Saunier, BeatQuartet, Emmanuel Curt, Stéphane Labeyrie ...) and be recorded on CD by orchestras of Japan(Nagoya), German (Musikkorps ), Scottish (Glasgow), Belgium (Leuven), Dutch (Nothern Winds) etc ... He writes for orchestra (Symphonic orchestra and Concert band), concertos, pieces of chamber music and soloist. He won the 1st Prize in international competitions of composition of Saint-Amand-les-eaux (France -2005) and Haize Berriak (Spain - 2009). He wrote on demand, he is invited to give master classes and he is also invited, as a conductor, directing them. For the creation of his first symphony, Atlas, he directed the orchestra of the National Police of France. He 's professor of orchestration at the Douai's conservatory (France).
In addition to symphonic music, he makes arrangements for groups or singers. He worked with Joel Fajerman (composer of film music, various documentaries) on an album of songs -jazz. There is also a member of the executive committee of the National Union of Variety Artists and Composers (SNAC).
